Take submissions
Drag-and-drop form builder with conditional logic, blind judging panels, progress tracking, shortlists, outcomes and PDF export.
Software for arts nonprofits · Launching 2027
Submissions, judging, CRM, email, events, HR and budgets in one platform, built around a single record for every artist, judge, donor and partner you work with. No more sloppy data.
No per-seat fees. Made in regional NSW.
One person. One record. No copying between spreadsheets.
Entries in one system, contacts in another, the newsletter somewhere else and artist payments in a spreadsheet only one person understands. It's a nightmare.
Counting participants, regional reach and artist fees by hand, again, because nothing talks to anything else. We've found a much, much better way.
The platform
Every module launches together and reads from the same people, programs and money. Set it up once, and stop double-handling information.
Drag-and-drop form builder with conditional logic, blind judging panels, progress tracking, shortlists, outcomes and PDF export.
Artists, judges, donors, schools and partners in one place, with every entry, booking, gift and email on their record. Take secure payments directly through our platform, issue tax receipts and plan appeals without leaving the CRM.
Newsletters and call-outs sent straight from your CRM. Fundraisers plan an appeal's emails, your email team writes them, and audiences like 'gave last year, not this year' are built for you.
Plan programs and events, track milestones, and pull acquittal numbers from the work you've already recorded. Track artist fees and superannuation through to paid.
Turn modular position descriptions into beautiful organisation charts and run recruitment through to onboarding. Create policies and assign them out to staff, with deadlines.
Step 1: Import your profit & loss from Xero, MYOB or any spreadsheet to track against donation goals and expense commitments, then map your lines to funder reporting categories. Step 2: Breeze through acquittals.
Connected
Plan an appeal's mailout timing and pitch in the CRM, hand it to marketing, and send to exactly the right people. Your end of year appeal or AusArt Day done right—every time.
Audiences, built for you
Security
Burst Practice runs on Supabase, an independently audited Postgres platform. Your data lives in one secure place, not split across systems and routed through dodgy third-party API connectors.
Every organisation gets a dedicated database. Your records never sit in the same tables as another organisation's.
Postgres checks every row against the signed-in person's role before returning it. Permissions are enforced by the database, not just hidden in the interface.
Judges receive entries through a secured database function that strips applicant identity before anything leaves the server. There's nothing to peek at.
Data and uploaded files are encrypted at rest with AES-256, and every connection runs over TLS. HTTPS is enforced across the platform.
Applicants and judges sign in with a one-time email link or their Google account, so there's no applicant password database to steal.
Our database provider is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant and ISO 27001 certified, with independent audits every year.
Your database, sign-in service and file storage all live in the Sydney region, which helps you meet your obligations under the Australian Privacy Principles.
Your database is backed up every day, so a bad afternoon doesn't become a lost program.
Admins, program staff, judges and applicants each see only what their role allows, down to individual rounds and panels.
Pricing
Full pricing is announced at launch. Our First Edition, a small first run of organisations, hears it first and locks in a lower rate.
Pricing is based per-module. Pay for what you need, with full features and no tiers. Don't pay for what you don't need, just add another module once you're ready. And, bonus—each additional module adds a discount to your total bill.
